Catering & Pastries

In the Catering Department, we do not train on cookery and catering alone per se, but we made sure we isolate major African dishes cutting through the diverse tribes of Africa to drill on. The same is done with western European cuisine.

We also take into account persons with health challenges and for that reason, Nutrition and Special Diets is a course in the curriculum

We also train our students on how to use modern and traditional cooking methods and equipment to ensure a complete blend of operations in the “Power House”-kitchen

Our Catering services are designed to accommodate both modern and traditional etihiquetes. Young female trainees from Avotrac would master the art of serving and preparing the table for their husbands and elderly persons in society.

Our Pastry section cuts through baking and dressing to packaging, preservation and marketing of all sorts of pastries. We envisage a career for our trainees from this department that will equip them to for instance, customize their own biscuits, package and export to other countries.
