Amazingrace Vocational Training Centre (Avotrac) hereby informs interested candidates of the existence of vacancies in its establishment for the following positions:

1. CAMPUS COORDINATOR

Expectations:

A highly motivated and organized adult male or female

Key responsibilities

  • Curriculum development, conceive timetables, lay out lesson peri- ods/ academic calendar and assigning respective teaching hours.
  • Oversee lesson plans and notes as well as lesson delivery.
  • Coordinate events, workshops and meetings on campus.
  • Provide administrative support to departments and staff.
  • Ensure smooth operations and communication across campus.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with campus stakeholders
  • Manage schedules, calendars and logistics.
  • Be at the helm of the administrative and pedagogic team.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor degree in Education and curriculum studies from a re- nowned University.
  • At least two years of experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (Being bilingual is an added advantage).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be proactive and assiduous.

2. INSTRUCTOR IN PASTRIES (INCLUSIVE)

Expectations:

A highly motivated, neat and organized adult male or female.

Key responsibilities

  • Able to dispense lessons in theory and practical on composition, baking, dressing, preservation and packaging of all sorts of pastries and natural juice.
  • Capable of using modern and local ovens.
  • Coordinate events and workshops within her department.
  • Submit lesson plan as and when needed.

Requirements

  • A Diploma or Certificate from a renowned school.
  • At least two years of experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (Being bilingual is an added advantage)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be proactive and assiduous.

Expectations:

A highly motivated, neat and organized adult male or female

Key responsibilities

  • Able to dispense lessons in theory and practical on cookery, nutri- tion and diets, preservation of all sorts of Major African and western dishes; catering services and event management, table and cutlery lay out etc.
  • Capable of using modern and local cooking equipment and accessories.
  • Coordinate events and workshops within her department.
  • Submit lesson plan as and when needed.

Requirements

  • A Diploma or Certificate from a renowned school.
  • At least two years of experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (Being bilingual is an added advantage)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Able to dispense lessons in theory and practical on Fashion Design- ing in universal patterns- (Afriture, western male or female suits and jackets)
  • Submit lesson plan as and when needed

Requirements

  • Diploma and proof of experience.
  • Basic knowledge of maintaining machinery.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (Being bilingual is an added advantage)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Able to dispense lessons in theory and practical on principles of interior decoration, colour, pattern, texture, lighting, basic necessi- ties for flower arrangement & placements etc

  • Able to dispense lessons in theory and practical on sewing and ma- chine marking of Hausa and or Bamenda patterns ; hand marking for Bamenda dresses

  • Basic knowledge of computer maintenance.

  • Able to dispense lessons in theory and practical on : Introduction to photography, Types of Photography, Post production, Introduction to videography, Camera techniques, Storytelling and scripting, Video editing, Advanced techniques, Practical projects.
